F.A.Q.'s For many, using a stylist is new territory. Here are questions my clients, past and present, are wondering...
Who do you typically work with? In my 18 years in the fashion and styling industry I have had the pleasure of meeting and working with an array of individuals. Nothing is more satisfying than having a happy client. My true joy comes from making others look and feel their best.
How does your pricing work? Are there different costs for each styling service? Each service is extremely customizable to my clients. Whether you need a closet edit or a personal styling session, I create a custom experience unique to you. If there are several services you are interested I offer bundle packages. Contact me and I will walk you through all of the options...Click here
How do I prepare for a Closet Edit or Closet Rejuvenation? You can do as much or as little prep work as you like. With this said, I do ask my clients to pull out some of their favorites they feel the most comfortable and confident wearing.
How long does a typical Closet Edit take? Do I have to try my clothes on? A closet edit can range anywhere from 1-3 hrs depending on the amount of clothing you own. You will try on as many looks as it takes to sift through the good, the bad, and the ugly!!
Where does our first Consultation/Closet Edit take place? I can either come to your home or you can meet with at my studio, bringing your most loved fashion items along with pieces in question.
Do you shop discount stores and sale racks? Always! I love a great department store or boutique sale and the Runway and Contemporary area at TJ Maxx!
Where do you like to shop for your clients? This is truly up to the individual. The sky is the limit, and your budget is always taken into consideration. My philosophy is that it doesn't matter cost or brand, it is about making you feel and look your very best. I find success at local boutiques, department stores, J. Crew, Anthropology, TJ Maxx....just to name a few!
Are there any unexpected costs that I haven't thought of? For a custom fit, I often times recommend to my clients tailoring along with proper undergarments. I also always complete a look with proper shoes and accessories.
Will you shop online for me? Yes, this is such a great option for those that may not have enough time to shop or meet in person. Inspiration boards are often used in this instance.
I don't need a lot of fashion advice. I want you to shop for me because I don't have a lot of time. Do you do that? Yes, in this instance I will continue to add the right pieces to your already established look, versus taking you through the basics.
